The First Blog

This blog will be a simple blog as it is my first one. A little about me on this just so you know who I am and where I come from.

My name is Jarrod Wronski and I'm actually writing this blog from the pressbox of PGE Park in Portland, Oregon as the Portland Timbers begin a late-season game against the Atlanta Silverbacks. My role with the Timbers is simple, play music. However, we have a band tonight and I'm just listening for the next few minutes.

I'm engagaed to a beautiful girl named Monika, she's my sweetness. Ok, enough of the mushy stuff, these are supposed to be my rants, thoughts, and ideas about sports and occasionally life in general.

The web site, SportsAnnouncing.com is my web space and is my opportunity to share with the world my ideas on game production. I have a lot of experience in game production and game operations in professional baseball which has allowed me to produce high school and junior hockey events as well as high school football and basketball. I've been to over 150 different arenas and stadiums around the world and will one day publish an entire list of those facilities and who/what I saw there. Heck, I might just make that my next blog!

As anyone who has read a blog knows, these are my ideas and thoughts. I do welcome feedback however as a good discussion is always ready to take place somewhere. If you've found this blog through an internet search, welcome.

Well, this is my first blog, let's see how many more I write, I hope to make it a pretty common thing.

Jarrod.
